It’s a great game, capturing the feel of the original, but I don’t think it’s quite as good as on Saturn. I’d liked to have seen more levels added or something a bit more.

Why didn’t you like this as much as the original? Nostalgia?
Definitely nostalgia. But I think I just prefer the aesthetics on the Saturn version. When it was released, it was a unique experience.
I only played Panzer Dragoon 2, but I’m sure part1 was great too. I may never play the original, but I’ll fine with playing this remake of it.
I think if you play the remake, you can get away without playing it on the Saturn – unless you a big Saturn fan. I think there’s a remake of Panzer Dragoon 2 coming too!
