Points, Badges and Levels System
SEGA Universe features the ability to earn Points and be awarded Badges and Levels for using the website and meeting criteria. Below is a list of how to earn these.
(There are plans to expand upon this points system in the future, with the possibility of using points to exchange for things.

Points
Earn Points:
500 points – Have a News, Review and Featured article published
(earned once) (points added in addition to receiving the 200 points for completing the task “News Article published”, “Full Game Review published” or “Featured Article published” as detailed below) (points added manually by SEGA Universe) *
200 points – Have a News Article published
(unlimited times) (points added manually by SEGA Universe) *
200 points – Have a Full Game Review published
(unlimited times) (points added manually by SEGA Universe) *
200 points – Have a Featured Article published
(unlimited times) (points added manually by SEGA Universe) *
100 points – Register to website
(earned once)
30 points – Update your profile image
(earned once)
30 points – Create a forum topic
(unlimited times) *
20 points – Have someone add you as a friend in SEGA Chat
(earned up to 5 times)
10 points – Comment on a News, Review or Featured Article
(unlimited times) *
10 points – Write a Quick Review or Comment on a Game
(unlimited times) *
10 points – Write on your own or other’s activity feed
(unlimited times) *
5 points – Each Login
(earned once per day) (unlimited times) *
* Same points deducted if removed.
Badges
Earn Badges:
Frequent Flyer – Login on 10 different days
Commenter – Comment on an Article, or write a Quick Review or Comment on a Game, 10 times *
Forum Contributor – Create 3 Forum Topics *
Journalist! – Have a News Article published *
Reviewer! – Have a Full Game Review published *
Featurer! – Have a Featured Article published *
Astronomer! – Have a News, Review and Featured Article published *
* Badges may be removed if requirements no longer met. For example, if comments or articles removed.
Levels
Rise up Levels:
Level 1 – Trainee Astronaut! – Register to SEGA Universe
Level 2 – Junior Astronaut! – Earn 2000 points
Level 3 – Astronaut! – Earn 5000 points

The Points, Badges and Levels System is likely to change and there may be changes to how the system awards Points, Badges or Levels (items). As this is a new feature, still in development, items may be withdrawn or changed, which may mean your Points balance is changed by SEGA Universe, but we will endeavour to keep this as fair as possible! This is due to ensuring that the Points, Badges and Levels System works well and becomes a fun-to-use aspect of SEGA Universe.
